The course is designed to introduce EV technology, systems, and safety to those involved in vehicle maintenance, service, and repair. Participants will be able to describe EV technology to customers, employees, and supervisors. There will be an emphasis on safety, as well as facility preparation, required tooling, personal protective equipment, and emergency response. The goal is preparing participants for implementing service, repair, and diagnosis in the workplace.
