Potsdam Summerfest | ENERGY ZONE
The North Country Clean Energy Hub is hosting the Energy Zone at Potsdam’s Summerfest! A long-standing North Country event, Summerfest draws thousands to have fun, enjoy great food, and listen to music on three stages from morning to night.
The Energy Zone is located between the Main Street activities and the food vendors and exhibitors in Ives Park. The Zone will offer energy science activities for all ages, giveaways, raffle prizes, and information about low and no-cost programs to help save energy and money in your home.
Check it out while charging your phone on our energy bike, make your hair stand on end with NYPA’s plasma ball, help blend delicious smoothies on a bike with Cornell Cooperative Extensions, munch on cookies baked in a solar oven with Proven Energy Systems, enter a raffle to win a free outdoor electric tool from Coakley’s Home and Hardware, and test your efficiency knowledge at the Insulation Station with G.R.O. Energy Solutions.
