This year, we are dedicated to fostering dialogue between technology pioneers, policymakers, and local voices to ensure that innovation is also inclusive, equitable, and rooted in shared responsibility.

Join us on Tuesday, May 19 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM for a community-wide Open House at OHMV Community Center, hosted in partnership with the North Country Clean Energy Hub. Residents of all ages are welcome for an afternoon of connection, learning, and celebration as we highlight the newest upgrades to our facility. Lewis County Residents: County Climate Planning Workshop #1
Lewis County Residents: County Climate Planning Workshop #1
Lewis County is partnering with the Adirondack North Country Association (ANCA) to develop a County-Wide Climate Change Adaptation & Resilience Plan (CCARP).
Participants will explore how climate hazards (e.g. flooding, high winds, drought) have the potential to impact Lewis County now and in the future. Together, we will identify what places, assets, and services to include in the plan and determine their vulnerability to climate hazards.
This will build into a second workshop, where we will identify adaptation actions to address the vulnerabilities prioritized in the first workshop. In the end, the plan will give Lewis County the tools to protect what matters most — our homes, our neighborhoods, and our future — by making safety a shared priority.

Canton Repair Fair
Canton Repair Fair
The Repair Fair will return to Canton Pavilion bringing community members and handy helpers together with a goal of reducing waste and teaching useful skills.
The Repair Fair encourages people to reduce waste and gain independence by learning to fix belongings rather than throwing them away, and will take place from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Street facility. Village officials and proponents have endorsed the event as a way to reduce the waste of objects that are still usable.

Peru Earth Day Festival
Peru Earth Day Festival - STUDENTS ONLY
Peru CSD Earth Fest is a three day event to celebrate Earth Day and bring greater awareness of environmental issues to Peru Central School District students, staff and our community. There will be stations similar to a science fair with various Earth Day activities. Join your local Energy Advisor on Thursday, April 23 to learn about energy saving actions to help create a cleaner planet. The venues will include the High School gymnasium, Outdoor Courtyard, and Library.
Over 1200 students will view, interact, explore and create with presenting organizations. Student club leaders will facilitate, guide and assist presenters. Each station will take approximately 15 minutes and may include a presentation and activity.
