About the Position

Position Title:

Sales Engineer

Salary:

$25-$35/hour

  • NP Environmental an established and successful sustainable HVAC company looking for an individual with a strong mechanical/ electrical background in engineering with a focus in HVAC Sales. Candidate should also possess solid leadership skills and have experience in a sales, customer relations, site assessments and advanced understanding of residential HVAC systems. Must have a willingness to travel to job sites and have basic tools (preferred). Our company is rapidly expanding and will provide many opportunities for advancement.

  • 1. Ability to sell, manage, and engineer high performance renewable energy heat pump systems.

    2. Evaluate customer’s homes / building structure by utilizing assessment tool.

    3. Scheduling / Managing sold project from start to finish.

    4. Provide sales projections while reaching sales goals provided by the management.

    5. Understand and build Picture and Identification Diagrams (P&ID’s)

    6. Interface with customers at job site and provide excellent customer service.

    7. Review and follow up on equipment failures, utilizing root cause failure analysis, and offer solutions and own corrective actions to prevent future failures.

  • 1. Capable of standing for an extended period

    2. Able to frequently lift and/or carry 50 pounds

    3. Ability to sit for extended periods

    4. Physically capable of climbing stairs, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching or crawling

    5. Able to use hands and arms to grasp, push, pull, reach with hands and arms, or lift above shoulder level

    6. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

  • Skills

    - Strong desire to learn new technologies and practices.

    - Trouble shooting experience

    - Excellent communications & customer service skills.

    - Sales & Leadership experience is preferred.

    Required Qualifications:

    - HVAC two-year degree

    - Must have a working telephone, and be able to respond to call-ins

    - Must be able to understand complex HVAC system with satisfaction.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    - EPA certification is preferred

    - BPI certification is preferred

    - IGSPA certification is preferred

    - Defensive driving course is preferred
