On Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM the Adirondack North Country Association (ANCA) will host a webinar to review and gather feedback on the New York State Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP). This webinar is presented as part of the Climate Smart Communities Grant program, administered by ANCA. Participation will help shape strategic priorities and offer the opportunity to collaborate about ways to address our region’s local challenges.

The cross-organization (NYS DEC, NYSERDA, NYS DOS) priority Climate Action Plan has been developed for the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Climate Pollution Reduction Grants Program – a funding stream for NY priority climate actions.

The webinar will:

• Share NYS Scoping Plan highlights

• Recap the US EPA’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grants Program (CPRG)

• Review key concepts about Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP)

• Discuss intersection of plans and ask gather feedback specific to our North Country region

Leaders from across the North Country are strongly encouraged to attend and ensure we gather region-specific insights that can inform and influence future climate and energy funding decisions.
